Replacing Reflector

Parts:

42.9816.0161 / 2.3749A-P90 1 EA REFLECTOR, BEST BOY, 40 LUNE

Tools & Supplies:

#2 Phillips screwdriver

Cotton gloves or finger cots

Loctite #246 (06.6019.0001.01)

WARNING: Remove power from luminaire before performing any maintenance procedures.

To replace the reflector:

Step 1. Remove power from lamp and allow lamp to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 2. Remove Aft Cover. (Refer to "Removing Aft Cover" on page 25.)

CAUTION: Wear cotton gloves or finger cots while servicing lamp. Clean with alcohol if lamp is touched.

Step 3. At lamp socket, in an alternating fashion, turn two thumbscrews counter-clockwise until lamp socket is

loose (Figure 3-37).

Do not completely loosen one thumbscrew and then loosen the other. Loosen each one

a little at a time in an alternating fashion to avoid breaking the socket or lamp.

Step 4. Pull lamp socket straight out of luminaire.
