Step 7. At Reflector, in an alternating fashion, gradually loosen three 6-32 x 1/4" PPSS screws until all three

mounting clips are free (Figure 3-39).

Step 8. Remove Reflector.

Step 9. Verify reflector gasket (10.9816.0615) is still in place and is in good condition.

CAUTION: When re-installing the Reflector, the notch must be aligned as shown in Figure 3-39 above or the

glass will crack when the mounting clips are installed.

Step 10. Install new Reflector by first aligning notch as shown in Figure 3-39 and then visually centering Reflector on

mounting hole. Re-install three mounting clips with screws. Apply Loctite 242 to threads of screws.

Step 11. Re-install Thermal Switch Bracket and XYZ Assembly by doing steps in reverse (Figure 3-38). Apply Loctite

246 to threads of screws.

Step 12. Re-install Lamp and Lamp Socket. (Refer to "Replacing Lamp" on page 33 for important instructions!)

Step 13. Re-install Aft Cover.

Step 14. Optimize lamp. (Refer to "Adjusting Lamp" on page 35.)
